On May 6, a working meeting of representatives of the National Union of Design Affairs (NSPS) took place in Kyiv. The event brought together heads of design organizations, the expert community and industry professionals; participants from abroad joined the discussion via video conference.

NSPS President, Doctor of Law Viktor Leshchynskyi, in his keynote emphasized the need to shape clear market rules and raise responsibility standards:

‘NSPS is building an environment where professional responsibility becomes the norm and quality of design becomes the baseline standard. It is essential not only to unite the market, but to ensure clear mechanisms of interaction that build trust and competitiveness.’

Participants were presented with the union’s key directions — development of self-regulation, implementation of unified design standards and stronger responsibility of contractors — together with plans for further NSPS work.

A dedicated block was devoted to digitalization: technology integrator Dmytro Torianyk presented solutions for design companies, from CAD/BIM systems to infrastructure platforms and AI tools. The event also included the presentation of certificates and a final discussion of key market development issues.
